Automatic reference structuring (ARS) system uses pattern-matching to generate XML references. The current database includes 900+ patterns of references including various types of journals/books/edited Books. The current database also includes ACS and group references. The application matches the input reference with one of the available patterns, identifies the part elements automatically and structures them. The whole process of tagging all references in an article is automated. Any pattern which is not matched by the ARS is left unstructured. The database is updated on a regular basis.

The ARS will automate more than 80% of your reference creation/generation activity. This system can be made available to you on a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. The SaaS model requires no upfront investments from you and gives you the ability to pay per use.

The Auto image processing (AIP) system helps convert images from PDF pages into EPS/TIFF images for further processing. The AIP system is built on top of the Adobe Library and ensures a reliable conversion of the images. This systems can be made available to you on a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. The OePS solution developed by SPS provides a platform for authors, editors, and production staff with a mechanism to undertake proofing activity in a collaborative manner. In the OePS, one or more author/editor/proofreader can share the reviews in the same shared-review-enabled PDF. The author marks the corrections and ultimately ‘finalizes’ the review of the PDF. After finalizing, the review of author is visible to the next level reviewer. Once the author/editor/proofreader publishes his/her comments, further corrections by him/her are restricted. At the end of the ‘Shared Review’ the typesetter can make the necessary changes.
